All-Weather Green Sketching - Adult outdoor drawing workshop

Come join us for a relaxed outdoor drawing class set within the wonderful East Lothian Flower Farm. Green Sketching is a new approach to drawing (founded by Dr Ali Foxon) the aim of which is to use drawing as a tool to see nature anew, to relish in the small details and create a deeper connection and appreciation of our surroundings.

This is a confidence boosting approach to drawing and though the class is aimed towards beginners, those with more experience are very welcome to come along and experiment. We will explore and play with different materials, surfaces and sketching techniques with an emphasis on playful process rather than a focus on one end resulting artwork.

The workshops will run from the start of the growing season in April and culminate as the harvesting comes to a close in November. Each class will be on the first Saturday of the month, with materials and a hot drink provided.

Please note the workshop will run whatever the weather so please do come well prepared for a typical Scottish day of four seasons in one!

For further reading on the topic of Green Sketching please have a look at the link: Dr Ali Foxon – https://www.boggydoodles.com/
Please note we need a minimum of 5 people for the class to run. Book now !
