Welcome to East Lothian Flower Farm

East Lothian Flower Farm is a working flower farm and floristry studio rooted in seasonal growing and sustainable practice. From early spring through to the first frosts, flowers and foliage are grown here in tune with the natural rhythm of the land, using agroecological methods that support soil health, wildlife, and biodiversity.

Every stem is carefully selected for its scent, character and movement. The result is a natural, garden-led style—loose, expressive arrangements that reflect the moment they were grown in. Flowers are harvested by hand, conditioned on site, and used fresh or dried to create work for weddings, events, florists and local clients.

Sustainability runs through every part of the farm. Flowers are grown without chemicals, with minimal use of single-use materials, and never with floral foam. Wherever possible, flowers are supplied locally, keeping miles low and connections close between grower and customer.

Debbie Scott - The Flower Grower Collective

Alongside the farm, East Lothian Flower Farm plays a leading role in the Flower Grower Collective — a nationwide network of regional wholesale hubs bringing British flower farmers and florists together.

The Collective was created to provide a clear and reliable route to market for small-scale growers, while making it easier for florists to source high-quality, seasonal British flowers. Through collaboration, shared systems and regional hubs, it connects growers and buyers in a way that supports consistency, trust and long-term relationships.

Working as a not-for-profit, asset-locked co-operative, the Flower Grower Collective champions agroecological growing, transparency, and fair returns for growers. It is helping to reshape how flowers are sourced in the UK—placing sustainability, provenance and community at its centre.
